Westland Insurance To Acquire Prospera Insurance Agencies From Prospera Credit Union
Abbotsford, April 6, 2011 – Prospera Credit Union and Westland Insurance Group Ltd. today announced an agreement for the sale of Prospera Insurance Agencies (PIA) effective April 30, 2011.
"Our board and management determined that we needed to find a partner with the same values and culture around member service and who would provide options for career growth to our staff”, said Bruce Howell, President & CEO of Prospera Credit Union.
Westland is committed to providing service to all PIA clients with no change to their existing insurance premiums or coverage through the term duration of their current policies. Westland Insurance Group will offer clients similar policies at renewal.
